The Automotive Clubs ADAC (D) / OEAMTC (A) / TCS (CH) and the consumer organization Stiftung Warentest (D) have published the Winter Tire Test 2014. Usualy test is made in two sizes. Second one is 195/65R15.
The tests were carried out by the Automotive Clubs on VW Golf VII at the following proving grounds:
- All criteria on wet road, fuel consumption, noise and ice braking: Contidrom, Jeversen, Germany.
- Snow handling, braking and traction: Ulrichen, Switzerland
- Ice circle: ice hall, Füssen, Germany
- Handling dry and dry braking: Bridgestone, Rome, Italy.
- Mileage: ADAC wear test around Landsberg, Germany.
- High speed test: TU Darmstadt, Germany.
